Active &
Feeble
In struggled an elderly
Active mind
Pushing, pulling
And dragging
A feeble body behind,
It was like looking
At the future
Past many, many
Tomorrows,
Yet there was no
Sorrow in his eyes
As he ordered
A double espresso
Straight up,
As if reading my
Thoughts he said,
The problem with
The world today
Is that there are
Too many young feeble
Minds in active bodies.
