Again

She was instantly interesting

And easy to speak with,

Engaging parts of my mind

Touching and connecting

Corners of my heart and soul

That had been undusted for

So long I forgot they were there,

From politics to poetry,

Religion, love and sadness,

To the madness of the economy,

The silent spiritual explosion

Blowing barriers open even

For those who didn’t know

What was happening,

This Lady who’s name I

Will carry through the eons

Said she would be in touch

As she walked away,

I suddenly realized

How beautiful she was and

In that moment the urge

To run after her and

Hold her in my arms

Was so intense that it

Melted muscles into a

Pool of overwhelming

Longing to see her soon

Again and again and again.
