Between The
Covers
Rolling into this
Spring Sunday on
The bright side of
The sun at the edge
Of the sparkling ocean,
Gulls giggling and gossiping
At the uncovering of cover-ups
And the stupidity of humans who
Continue to accept that those supposedly
In charge really do know what they are doing,
From Tiger to governments and yes even the
Pope, the cracks in the shells large enough
To fly through, the lies and the gears
Exposed for all to see and still we
Kneel and salute like fools and
Yet, don’t we all have
Someone we would
Love uncovered
Between the
Covers.
