It’s interesting
How caring goes,
Some people
Have a natural
Concern and kindness
With really no conscious
Thought for themselves,
While others,
You know the plastic smiles,
Half hearted handshakes,
What’s in it for me
Peeking from the shadows
Of their eyes,
The goody, goody
Two-shoe shuffle,
Yes,
It’s an interesting thing
How caring shows.
