Commonalities

Sitting here

 Contemplating the beauty,

I can’t help but wonder

How many minds

These same thoughts

Have strolled through,

How many bodies

These same emotions

Have tingled,

Perhaps many of our

Experiences we take as

Unique are more common

Than we care to think,

Maybe we should dwell

More on the commonalities of man

Rather than the differences we tend

To treat with violence.
