Concerned

I watched him read

Her notes,

Saw him smile

At her dream

And was concerned

For this poet

Obviously inspired,

Concerned

For this Lady

Surely inspiring,

This man born

In love,

Never out of love,

Living as though

Earth was heaven,

This lovely Lady

The mystery Lady,

Concerned

They might

Become part

Of the page,

The piece he was

Working on,

A place they

Could never enter,

Could never leave.
