Dimensions

She takes me

To the edge

To peak over

The unseen wall,

It’s unnerving as hell

But I can tell

It’s not meant to be

That way,

 Back to ground

I turn around

The German Shepherd

Barking,

 The Siamese

Caterwailing,

It‘s okay boy, it’s okay,

He looks at me

As if to say,

Didn’t you see that,

Don’t you hear that,

Can’t you smell that,

Cat calls crazily

I think he’s finally got it,

The neighbors holler

Shut up your dog,

Close up your cat,

I whisper back

Didn’t you see that,

Don’t you hear that,

Can’t you smell that,

Quietly,

For I have the sense

Not to aggravate

Those confined

To three dimensions.
