Over his cooling coffee

It’s disgusting and sad
Watching the billionaires,
The banks, the very wealthy
Scrambling to save their
Positions by riding on the
Backs of average men and women,
The wanna be wealthy bowing
To the supposed brilliance
Of this bigoted bunch,
Manipulating bail out after
Bail out while the gap
Between haves and have nots
Stretches to near revolutionary
Proportions,
Why do
So many sit with their
Food stamps in front of TVs
Scooping up the prepared
Bullshit like naive pre-schoolers.
