He Said She Said
He said,
The women are beautiful
But they are not topical,
I asked,
Is beauty not always topical,
She said,
Sometimes all you need
Are words,
And the muse whispered,
Isn’t art in all of its forms
Simply
The siren coaxing
One from behind
The walls of one’s mind,
Out
Over the fences to get
Glimpses of things
One never knew
Existed.
