If trees wore hats
Would birds or squirrels
Be windstorm
Hat retrievers,
Would chin straps
And bonnet rings
Be a mandatory
Regulation,
If dreams and
Thoughts were real
How many would
Hold your heart,
Kiss your soul,
How many lovers
Would you steal away
For later
Contemplation.
