Like Great Jazz

First morning of winter

The droplets hanging

Between snow and rain,

The woman has gone

Back to the shadows,

As if to heal some pain,

Like great jazz she has

Love overflowing, but

Is so difficult to play,

The lips and the fingers

She lingers and longs for,

Don’t know music this way.
