Some days roll in
With touching touches,
This Monday is one
Of those days and it
Is still early yet,
A new friend
Dropped off some of
His music and writing,
It wasn’t so much
What he dropped off,
But the dropping
That blew me out of
The water, one of those
Gestures that keeps you
Humbly in love with
Life and the jazz of it all,
Then another Meeleirrek
Moment, one of those
Unexpected times when
A word, a line, a comment,
A picture, makes you want
To live forever.
