Old
Pictures
Old pictures are interesting,
They sometimes trigger wonderful
Thoughts about a time ago,
At other times, what
In the hell were we thinking,
I once lived in a remote
Northern mining town,
The only way in was
By train or plane,
One Hudson Bay store,
Everyone dressed the same,
Watched the same movies,
At times thought the same
In those winters that lasted
Eight to nine months with
The rest of the year being
Sort of summer,
Something like Facebook,
All pages and formats
Designed the same,
Tidbits of gossip,
Pictures of some stranger`s
Friends and relations,
Like the picture frame with
A model`s image under
The glass you bought at
The Bay, perhaps somebody`s
Cousin, but who gives a shit.
