Organic Ceylon Rose

The tea box said the aroma,

The flavour, would take me

Back to a simpler time when

Ladies were ladies and men

Were gentlemen, I wondered

When that was, where I

Would be going, holding

The cup tightly I took my

First sip and they were right,

Woodstock was over, Tofino

And Whistler were still sort

Of secret, and we lived in the

Now long before Tolle, an

Old song said Let’s Spend

The Night Together and we

Did, the aroma brought back

A hint of your perfume, the

Sweet smell of your skin,

The flavour brought back

Your kisses, the taste of your

Lips, your breasts, elsewhere,

And when it was over, that

Old song Everyone’s Gone To

The Moon, seemed to be playing

Everywhere.
