People don’t realize
That earth would get
Along quite well
Without them,
Said the big rock
Near the gate,
Actually it would
Do much better,
Added the holly tree,
The bees buzzing,
Circling around
Its blossoms,
Yes, said the bamboo,
I wonder if they ever
Think about where
The food chain really
Ends.
