Rumour had it
That she may have
Loved him once,
Perhaps still did,
But logic and circumstance,
Political correctness
Led her to simply
Slip silently away,
Him ,
Same circumstances,
And even though all
Poets know that
Love pays no attention
To logic and circumstance,
Political correctness,
They never seemed
To get that,
Instead medicated through
The hollow aching pains
And what if thoughts.
