Sides

Life reveals many sides

As we step, slip and slide

Through the years,

Upside, downside,

Backside, front side,

Then all of the angles,

The arcs, the curves

That sneak in through

The blind side,

Sometimes catching

 Us on the wild side,

The happy side, the

Lonely side, longing

Side, painful side,

The sad side, and

Just when you think

You’ve seen it all,

Have it all figured,

Some gorgeous dame

Will stroll on through

And stick you on a

Sweet side you never

Knew existed.
