The television
Channels,
The endless
Commercials,
Then the news
Of a smaller
Room
In a full care
Nursing home,
Silence,
Just the swish
Of the daughter
Fanning herself
With the facility
Brochure,
All seemingly
Thinking
About a time
Gone by
Before they all
Got older.
