On the day
Of a full moon
Politics found its way
Into the discussion,
And much like
Your cat chasing
Her tail,
What new thing
Is found if and when
She catches it,
Wasted energy
That could be more
Fun to use
Running my fingers
Down your spine,
And you yours
Up mine.
