The conversation was about how
Some of the greatest tragedies,
Most vicious acts of violence
Have been carried out with
Holy books under arms,
She came in cursing
That it was people
Not holy books,
And if she had her way
People would be shot for
Sitting around talking about
Holy books in such a disrespectful
Manner and she pulled out her bible,
Thumbed through pages to read a line
Here and there to prove why shooting’s holy.
