What goes on
In a man’s mind,
Still playing with
Models and toys
Past forty,
Wearing the shirts
Of his favourite
Teams and TV shows,
Abusing his wife
And his family,
When confronted
With all of the
Shit and the crap
He has pulled,
He pulls a reverse
And says,
It wasn’t me,
Someone else did
That to me,
What goes on
In a man’s mind
When his public face
Smiles and says,
I’m Mr. Nice Guy,
I’m Sir Galahad Cool,
Only good and great things
Are my trade and tool.
