Your Guru’s eyes are closed,

Is your Guru sleeping?

No. My Guru is meditating.

He is the Guru who never sleeps.

How come he is snoring?

My Guru is not snoring.

My Guru is deep breathing.

How come he is propped up

With pillows and cushions?

We don’t want Guru to fall over

When he is in deep meditation.

Why is there rice in his beard?

It is not rice in his beard.

He is the Guru who never eats.

Why is there partly eaten food

Spread all around him?

The food is only an offering.

Are we looking at the same scene?.

I cannot see I am blind.

Then how do you know all of this?

I am my Guru’s chosen disciple

My Guru told me these things.
